Trade mark enquiry

Our Australian friend who stayed with us last week Wants to purchase some mittens. (arthritis)

The trade mark on ours is

MASTER PLASTER SPORTS (tm)
Ebay are selling this brand but not mittens, can anyone please tell me how to find the manufacturer of this brand.
~There must be a directory of trade marks?

There must be a directory of trade marks

Sadly, not necessarily available to public scrutiny or indeed in one common register.

You can try here to see if its a registered mark in the EU:

http://oami.europa.eu/en/default.htm

A quick look turned up nothing - but you can do deeper, product specific ones.


Why not ask the ebay sellers?

One point on trademarks (having trademarked something myself!).

Anyone can put (tm) against something and claim it as a mark but only if it is actually registered is it protected and recognised as your mark, and then you can use an R in a circle like this ®
