it really is, i bought one and a plunge base for my daughter to do some carving, i think i have used it more than her though

I'm not surprised. It's an excellent tool. I only use it once a day for 10-15 minutes but love it. I have some doors to hang over Christmas at the inlaws. This'll come in handy together with the newly acquired 18v planer.

Kind of sad looking forward using your power tools...
