Put this together earlier in the year in my garden for my 2 grandchildren, who we provide childcare for 2 days a week. I love seeing the smiles on their faces when they play on/in it. Very satisfying to make something which brings such joy.
Main structure is pressure treated 2x4's, step treads and walkway from softwood decking. Anti-slip strips fitted on all step treads and along the walkway. Ground contact timber was additionally treated with 5star wood treatment. Most screws are stainless steel. Handles came from eBay, as did the slide, which was an absolute bargain at £10 !!
Took me about 10 days from start to finish (I am not very quick!)
