on average throws, two throws should produce one head and one tail (0.5 +0.5 - in theory). But i agree, you can also say that there 4 outcomes - HH TH HT TT, each one with a probability of 0.25.
Then you are still incorrect with the first part of the statement. It is not 0.5 + 0.5, rather it is 0.25 + 0.25. Two throws on average will produce the following:
H then a H 0.25
H then a T 0.25
T then a H 0.25
T then a T 0.25
H and a T in any order 0.25 + 0.25 = 0.5.
The first part of your statement is wrong, the second part is answering a different question and is correct.
