where can i purchase a couple of small wooden rugby balls about 1/1/2 to 2 inches any ideas and no i haven,t got a lathe lol
whould Polystyrene stand up to the weather as they will be out side all the time :idea:

probably easiest to get somebody to turn them for you- shouldnt take that long.

If nobody is nearer, i could have a go for you- making things look the same is a bit of a challenge for me though.
 
Years ago I made a wooden rugby ball on the bandsaw. The version I copied wasn't round. It was more like 4 curvy flat sides if that makes sense.

what tools do you have- there are a number of ways of doing a couple- carve, bandsaw, use a rasp. even rough it to shape somebow and put in a cordless drill to sand it.
 
Thank,s for the offer marcros i have made some using the rasp as suggested they are no the best but they are for below some one asked me to make a few for the rugby boys lol thank,s mock

is the 1 1/2" to 2" the length?

if i can find half an hour next weekend, I will have a go for you. I am less concerned since it isnt essential that they match perfectly
