Short on inspiration

Does anyone else get this - you find a nice piece of timber, mount it up, reduce to a cylinder, then cant decide what to make? its as if my mind goes blank.

To counter this I have started a folder with pictures of all your fine works of art, split into sections: bowls, plates, goblets, etc. Hope u dont mind me trying to emulate what you all done, but it does make it easier to decide what to do!

I have also got a 'portfolio' of china, glassware etc as the shapes and forms are often inspiring.
