So at great risk of making a complete idiot of myself and having been under a non-disclosure agreement since the summer I can now start telling people that last summer I was filmed for 3 days in total for BBC1's daytime show, Make it at Market.

I am slightly concerned at the angle that may be taken about a finish I was using (100% food safe varnish), a piece I had completed was subbed for one not quite done (I thought it was for background only, but the surface was mentioned) , and as I had a lot going on in family life at the time I barely sold anything in the time frame BUT it was an experience, time will tell and If i get a few weeks solid work out of it making stuff it will be worth it.

If you watch it, BBC1 Thursday 13 march, please be kind!

Here's a proposition: All editors are rascals. Will you get rascaled? Only you can tell.

Your best bet is to post a reminded especially for folk like me 😤😤😤
I'll second that.
Well done I hope it pays off for you.

I should point out that I have also appeared on a local BBC show, the clip was so short that only two people noticed :):)

Well done. I'll make a point to watch it.

I too have been on the telly locally and nationally many times. When Mom was alive I would phone her to tell her I'll be on the news tonight. She would get plenty of mileage out of it down the Ballroom Dance Club. She would tell them her lad is on the telly again. It didn't seem to matter that I would be in a hooded paper suit and a mask covering my face and I could be any one of the other masked and suited figures on the screen.

Were you environmental health or KKK?

The joys of being on tv, were you in a studio? We did several different films, as extras all outside in the cold and wet that and having to do the same thing over and over. (32 times)

Congratulations on being on the show. It is impressive that you kept the secret for this long.

Good luck with it. One of our turning club members - Wolfgang- was on best British wood worker last year. He really enjoyed the experience, but defi recognised it's for entertainment purposes.
