Dunno if he could/would help, but there is a guy called Gavin Oseman who offers all sorts of inverters on the Homeworkshop site. He's based in Malvern, and has been very helpful when I've contacted him in the past. Might be worth a look?
Thanks for that. I'm happy with Bill's method. Just want something to stop the lathe if I ever need to.
Ebay cost is £7; Inverter changes would be significantly more .
