Rule 2 - any timber that is knot free and is well dried will be too short for your project

Rule 3 - any timber that is knot free, well dried and the right length for your project, can be guaranteed that the quantity available won't be enough for your project.

No..not really..I was just musing while I waited for the lots I was interested in to come round.

Actually thinking about it - I bought 4 lots. Lots 1-3 Rule 1 applies. Lot 4 - Rule 3 applies.

So guess my rules work :?

Rule 7.
When you find the quality and quantity that you need without attracting the attention of the bid up tosser, the stuff will be 300 miles away and the a4seh01e seller won't consider any type of shipping at all even with you offering to pay any costs involved.

RULE 8: When the above conditions are met, and the bid up tosser is absent, AND the seller is willing to post it, the wife is invariably looking over your shoulder with a disapproving look....
