Howdy all - I'm new to the forum due to being off work courtesy of an Achilles rupture so in my endeavor to relieve the boredom I've just purchased a Ryobi router table and am wanting to make dovetail joints but as yet have only got a pile of chippings! Any good peeps out there have any ideas, links, plans etc, etc.

Hi Woody, have a look at the
Gifkinsjig. I'm guessing that you want something you can make yourself but it is worth a look for ideas. There are also a few fairly recent threads on the forum about dovetailing on a router table...try a search (also look at box joints which might be a better alternative if you really want to use the router table).
I have been told that the incra systems are the bees knees, the fellow who told me is a very skilled woodworker, he says that you will get a perfect joint every time.
It will be one purchase that I will be making sometime in the future, but a table saw fence combi that incorporates a router.
Take a look at the incra LS positioner
