Rounded corners for kitchen cabinets

Not wishing to hijack Bobbys Kitchen thread, but looking at the nice round corners would I be correct in assuming that they are created either by profiling on a spindle moulder or by being turned and split? Or is there a cunning and simple way of making ones own? or simpler still, are they available to purchase off the shelf? I had a quick google but didn't find much.

I have similar in my kitchen. Only needed 2 so just drew the shape on the ends with a compass, took the bulk off over the planer then down to the line with hand plane. Bit of sanding and job done.

Same method as above only for a meter cupboard rather than kitchen.

I've done them both ways, but now do them always on a spindle. Much more accurate and easier to do longer lengths, no hassle of paper joints and splitting and cleaning up afterwards.

I make the curved posts 50 x 50mm and the knuckle at the bottom is 70 x 70mm and join them.

We have a howdens kitchen with rounded corners - about 4" radius which appear to be solid MDF - presumably pre-formed to that shape in a long length. Obviously not an option for the amateur. Looks nice but isvery heavy.
