My sawbench ,Inca 341 017 24 incorporates a Weber Unimat switch WTN22-551 which is no longer working. Would any kind person out there, have a similar machine that is wrecked, but with the switch intact? I need a replacement. Any suggestions to overcome this problem, will be gratefully received.
Many Thanks,
Mooney.

Mooney,
Can you post a pic of the switch preferably in place and let us know what the switch does please, then we can probably help.

I dont' know. I'm not too ofey with the process. I'll try again, thanks.

Sorry, I've tried unsuccessfully to upload the pics.
The switch is the on/off switch, and I would welcome any ideas
about a replacement.

Jimi43 of this list has (or had) one of those saws (I think). He'll be along in a minute, I expect.

Meanwhile, I've looked at a few pics of the saw via Google. There are a variety of switches fitted, but they all seem to be fairly straightforward no-volt-release (NVR) switches. So you probably need a self contained NVR switch (in a box) with a big enough current rating. Almost anything of the sort would do, as long as it's mounted safely and accessibly. Axminster have some, as do most of the other usual suspects.

I'd be inclined to ring their technical department with the details of the motor (voltage and power information from the data plate), and see what they suggest.

Shouldn't take long, nor be a very expensive fix.

E.

Unfortunately, I'm not too well up with the technical data, but
I'll certainly look into your very welcome suggestion.
Many Thanks.
Mooney.

This is another attempt to post a pic of the switch.

Am I right in thinking that, although this is a rocker switch, it's an NVR switch?

In other words, you switch it to start the saw and again to stop it, but, if the saw is on when the power fails, the switch automatically switches off.

If that's the case, as I said, you have options...

Had a look at the de-walt site on ebay. Looks very similar, and if all else fails,
I'll try it; but I'm interested in the options mentions by E. Many thanks for your replies,
Mooney.

Hello E, I'd be very interested to hear any of the options you mentioned.

Hi All, so far I've only managed to upload 1 pic of the switch. I'm trying to post another pic of the assembly.

Hello - this is a latching switch similar to the belling cement mixer unit - which off ebay Chinese for under 10 pound
On Off Switch Fits for BELLE MINIMIX 150 140 Cement Concrete Mixer Genuine Part
£5.28
Fits ok though the control wire will need a different size connector - the weber switch was well overpriced
