What do you guys use? I've seen a few tutorials on Youtube and most seem to use corel draw to convert their pictures into the black and white image required. What's your thoughts?

If anybody has a programme such as this then I'd be interested in buying it if it's surplus. I'm not asking for a burnt copy, but if someone's upgraded and they have the old programme for sale then I'd be very interested

Thanks
Paul

Save your money and go for Inkscape. Same kind of program as Corel, but free.

You might also want to look at something like Gimp. A free lower powered alternative to Photoshop. There are a few features in that which make converting photos to line art a bit easier.

Both are pretty complex pretty powerful programs, but worth the effort. And pretty much any program you try to use will be fairly complex by necessity. There are plenty of tutorials on the net for each one, so time and patience will be the only real barriers.

Thanks jayjay. That's great. I downloaded gimp yesterday and I've got no idea how to use it lol. I've had a play with it but didn't get very far. I'll have a good look at your link.

;)
Thanks again
Paul
