It could well lead to significant social unrest, who knows - a post-capitalist form of civil war? Make no mistake, trump and project 2025 begins to align the US with other authoritarian states.

Will this do?

Let me know which number you want to go for.
It’s even one of your lefty hangouts ‘Novara Media’

That's a truly devastating critique of the man, and I fully agree that makes it completely clear he's a much much less trustworthy person than Boris Johnson.

A politician brown-nosing a colleague then later distancing themselves because it suits them is a truly horrendous crime and absolutely much worse than serial adultery, overseeing fraudulent contracts, and partying while your gran dies ("let the bodies pile high").

(being serious: it's poor behaviour, but hardly evidence of a "compulsive liar")

...and that isn't me!
...and that's a staggeringly well thought out and reasoned rebuttal to my statement; for which I must concede you're right. Your debating skills are truly matched by your ability to process evidence.

the solution is
A) tax wealth the same as income
B) increase taxes on the wealthy
C) reduce private ownership and create more public ownership
D) bring contracts back in house.....council are doing this
E) a mass council house building programme
F) increase opportunities for people by education
G) increase subsidy of childcare

but the real way to transform this country is to regulate the press properly so that billionaire owners of the Daily Mail ands Telegraph are no longer able to manipulate the general public
Increase the subsidy of childcare???? For goodness sake next we'll be paying chavs to have kids. There's far too much by way of subsidies for parents. I don't know how they would have managed when I was young and breeding with a WIFE!

Starmer has seen to it with his IT that many wealthy people will be queuing to leave the country such is his stupidity. You can't blame them when tax has already been paid on the wealth they've accumulated.
Couple that with making it more expensive to hire employees which will push up prices as well as unemployment, you really couldn't get a more morose leader than Starmer.
We had public ownership but it was ruined by soviet backed left wing unions filled with people like yourself so don't give me that. That is the reason public utilities were sold off in the first place..to get them out of the hands of the union nutters.

There's plenty of opportunities via education if people want to take advantage.
Anyway I'll take it you've never built a business...only people with a PAYE background could think like you do!

no he didnt

Starmer made 10 pledges as part of his leadership campaign and all it said in pledge no 2 no social justice was

"Support the abolition of tuition fees and invest in lifelong learning."

Its an aspiration, nothing else and it was before the economic damage of covid and costof living crisis
Apparently everything is aspirational with Starmer...I suppose identifying as a worker is aspirational too?

No we’re talking about Starmer being a rotten liar. I’ve shown you evidence, you denied it’s viability (i think that was option 3).

Here have some more

the thread is called "Trumps top team"

why are you so scared about discussing Trumps impending tariff war

Delaney said: "Trump’s view on the economy...........is a better direction for the US

Shall we all presume that you no longer agree with that position?

come on, do you think tariff increases will be good for America or not?

Segueing from some of our posters who love saying stuff because they believe it (rather than it having any basis in fact)... to the next POTUS... who loves saying stuff because he believes it (rather than it having any basis in fact)... here's a good piece on Trump's proposed tariffs:

you lived in a period when wealth inequality was lower Tony

thank you for proving my point

and by the way it is not simply chavs putting off having children.

Couples put off starting a family because they can’t afford homes

Tony this is yet another of your uninformed opinions not backed up with facts

Tony may I ask are any of your opinions based on fact?

by the way, subsidised childcare can actively help the economy, here is research and policies in Canada

one day Tony you might learn something.............that would be good for you eh

It's a pity that can't be reduced to a three or four word summary for trump supporters. Or, even better, a four letter acronym.

Have you taken two different sentences and attempted to connect them using ………..?
