Let's hope that can happen before Trump wields his entrepreneurial genius and sells Ukraine out to Putin. Not sure about flattening the Kremlin. That would be sufficient to kick things off.
But I'm assuming that was tongue in cheek.
As long as the fighting remains contained in the area around the border, and the missiles we are talking about only have a range of 2-300 miles, then I very much doubt Putin is going to do anything.
If Ukraine can use these missiles, as they are doing, to cut off supplies and so forth to the Russian occupying troops in their immediate rear, then that will cause them serious problems, particularly as winter takes hold.
If they can do it effectively enough then the Russians will find themselves unable to hold the ground and may be forced to withdraw.
If they are in a fairly precarious position to start with that might not take long, that remains to be seen.
Many reports suggest that Russia's troops are really the bottom of the barrel now, poor quality and poor morale. If that is true then their positions could collapse quite quickly if they find themselves increasingly isolated without supplies of ammunition, fuel etc. Russian logistics look to have been pretty poor from day one, might quickly collapse entirely if the Ukrainians start taking out all their supply dumps.
Meanwhile this made me laugh this morning. It seems much of the world isn't interested in the antics of Trump's 'efficiency tzar'.
