The people who brought the epic poster, in glorious Technicolour, showing how to wash your hands, now bring you their latest box office attraction!
Ladies and gentlement, for your edification, our local Council now displays for you a poster offering lessons in the Welsh language!

In Welsh!

Roy.

Seems perfectly sensible to me. Welsh speakers need to know about the lessons so they can encourage other people to take them up. Welsh speakers are allowed to have English-speaking friends and relations you know!

But if those who need the lessons can't understand it.......?

Then they get their first Welsh lesson when asking a Welsh speaker to translate (simples) :D :D :D

Alan.
On the assumption that they do actually speak Welsh!!

My sister-in-law comes from Pencae and speaks not a word. Maiden name was Roberts, like just about every other person in the village!!

Drawing no conclusions - just saying.

Judging from the reactions to my posts so far, I've decided that today must be my day for upsetting everyone so I apologise to the entire world for any offense I might cause, inadvertently or on purpose from here-on in.

The Welsh language is very common in this area, it's also used in the schools from pre school age, church services are conducted in Welsh.
The language is alive and well here.

Roy.
