that's a total result!I made a few doors that were too short a bit longer!
Think I owe @baldkev a pint as he was the first to suggest a shadow gap, it worked really well on this style of door, especially with the vertical grooves continued through.

Have you ever considered turner's anonymous?!So I'm still working my way through the heap of Ash I got a couple of weeks ago, I've managed to split the bigger pieces into more manageable lumps and now I'm working through rounding off and creating blanks ranging from 6 to 9 inch diameter in varying lengths, some of them I might recount and divide into 2 or 3.

Took these couple days ago, the pile waiting to be rounded off has tripled now.
You joke but it really is an addiction if I'm not at the lathe I will either be watching YouTube turners or I'll be thinking about turning and planning my next creations first and last thoughts of every day.Have you ever considered turner's anonymous?!

Those are gorgeous. Hope to see more photos.Working on lacquer finish on a couple of guitars I am building. I’d had a couple of days in the mid sixties and got about nine coats sprayed, waiting for the weekend when it’ll be warm again. Both are Martin 00 pattern. Front is Dalbergia Nigra, rear is local Clark Walnut. The necks are drying separately.
Are they for keeping your nuts inTook a break from rounding, sealing and stacking green ash today and made a couple of crotch vases one from Oak and one from Sycamore. Found a lot of bug larvae in the oak so probably gonna use the rest as firewood before the little pippers get into everything else.View attachment 153704View attachment 153705View attachment 153703View attachment 153702
