Everytime I reload Picasa onto my machine I get frustrated at just how close to a perfect viewing and cataloguing program it is - but yet so far off for me at least.

-If it could have the option of using your existing folder structure instead of that awful non-hierarchical mess it forces on you;
-If it would support the Adobe RGB colour space (go on - chuck in a RAW converter too :));
-And if it had some more conventional levels and even curves tools ...

I may well just ditch all the other progs I use.

There - got that off my chest :).

Cheers

Likewise - every time I install it I end up uninstalling it for some reason. I keep being tempted to try it again and keep finding it wanting or annoying in some way. No doubt though Ill install it again soon.
Cheers Mike

Gidon,
I have been out all day and not yet checked it out but the release notes for the beta say that it supports a hierarchical folder structure...

Tom,
How do you think I can afford my tools? :lol:

On the other hand, for the undemanding, non-techie user, Picasa is nice and simple. I must admit I miss it... (For Norm's sakes, don't tell the Mac folks I said that! 8-[ )

Cheers, Alf
