I have recently bought the OsborneEB-3 and I find it projects about 2-3mm above the table. Is the solution to get the Guide Bar milled down?
Mike

That could work but if you do look at the arrangement to expand the bar i would expect that only the top could be machined with out affecting the expander and other fittings may have to be cut also.

It doesn't help any I'm afraid Mike but curious to know what tablesaw you are using as the EB3 is a standard size that fits most, though not all, machines ?

Only thing I can think of doing is adding a temporary additional surface to the tabletop, mdf for example, but obviously not ideal !

Cheers, Paul :D

Hi there,

I have one of these and do not have any problems as you state. It is crack on.

Can you elaborate your problem please as it not that clear. Do I take it that, when it is in the slot, the main crossbar is 3mm above the table?

Thanks for the responses
My TS is a Startrite TA175. The mitre slots are shallower than the Guide Bar.I have talked to Osbornes, they say miling the bar is possible but
did not sound too sure. All other aspects of the EB-3 are perfect.
Thanks again.
Mike
