Very nice Ross.

I like pieces without frills which let the figure of the wood do all the talking. This is an excellent example, and very skilfully made.

'Simple' is not the same as 'easy'.

Very smart piece Ross:

I just finished a garden table and benches to a customer's design. Now he's decided the legs aren't 'chunky' enough, so I have to 'beef them up', to 4 x 4 from 4 x 2. He thinks I can just glue 4 x 2's to the existing frames! Good job I made it 'knock-down'. He is paying for extra timber, but it's a job I could have done without! :?

Nothing Stig. I used Cedar wood. Helped by the fact that the customer is 'mad about' natural rugged looks. whatever that means. :duno:

All Cedar wood needs is an annual coat or two of linseed oil at the end of each Summer. And waterproof glue of course.
