In Memorium
Back when I was young (and a bit disreputable) I had an aquaintance who used to dodge honest work in a simple manner. Each year he would do construction "work" for his uncle, usually security in a garden chair on-site for the minimum weeks to qualify for unemployment insurance. His uncle would then "lay him off". In those days you had to be able to give some proof of looking for a job to keep collecting your gravy, note the word" looking". Now comes laziness as artwork. He would approach a company per day and ask for work as senior management, be refused and then present the government form for them to sign to prove that he was "looking". And they always signed. He probably never worked more than 10 weeks a year in the 8 or so years I knew him!
