I have a rectangular piece of oak about 1 metre x 0.5 metre

I need to accurately and neatly cut it like 3 saw teeth
Any advice on how best to do it ?

TIA

Can you get in to scribe it from the back? I'd then be tempted to get rid of most of the spare with a hand circular or table saw and the finish off with a good fine hand saw.

You could cut most of the waste with a table saw, if you have one available, stopping short of the line and then finish up with a hand saw. You could also rough it out with a jigsaw and clean up the cut edges with a router.

Edit: I must learn to type faster.

Thanks for all the replies

The piece has not been installed yet - I am restoring our oak staircase where someone had put 3 plywood stairs at the bottom!
