B&Q, Screwfix and Toolstation are all owned by the same company (Kingfisher PLC)

I think Toolstation are owned by Travis Perkins who also own Wickes. Similar set up to B&Q and Screwfix.

Toolstation is owned by Travis Perkins. It was started by the son of the chap who started and sold Screwfix to Kingfisher.

I've got 3x B and Q,, 2 of each Tool Station and Screwfix, a Whickes, TWO Beesley and Fildes, a Travis Perkins and a local hardware store within 10 minutes of me.

I bought a sheet of 18mm plywood (to make some jigs with) from B AND Q last Saturday because none of the others came even close on price. I bought a bag of 'pick and mix' screws will I was there too...got a couple of hundred screws in a bag for a fiver. Screws sizes I don't use often, so don't need boxes of.

I may not use B and Q again for a while ...but it is useful at times.

I haven't bought any kind of tools from a walk in shop for (possibly) five years or more. It's always cheaper online.
