I love how common it is to sit on the ground for handymen/women over there. I've watched potters with their wheels dug into the ground so they can sit on the floor and potter. It looks very grounding, but I'd get pins and needles in 10 minutes!
OK, Japanese lacquer is food safe they say. What would you use to seal (finish) carved wooden spoons and ladles with here bearing in mind for food safety?
