I love how common it is to sit on the ground for handymen/women over there. I've watched potters with their wheels dug into the ground so they can sit on the floor and potter. It looks very grounding, but I'd get pins and needles in 10 minutes!

What is he brushing the finished products with? Looks like some oily stain. Would it be safe for food preps?
