Hi Dom just wondered how you got on with the roof shingles as I haven't felt my ears burning yet? :lol:

No, well. Apparently when you reach a certain age, not that you would know, you just can't climb and build as fast as you used to.
Building an 18' by 10' pitched roof and it's a high pitch (he'll be picture framing in there and mouldings are 8' tall) then felting and tiling just ain't gonna happen in one day, least not with me and a picture framer doing the job.
Picture framers are like engineers,"could that joint be a little tighter". :evil:
Still we did get the roof up , purlins' noggins, velux windows an' all and the marine ply is laid over and fixed.
Today I'm struggling with getting out of this chair, so you'll have to wait for the ear burning.

Oh Dom, my friend, such kind words: (When you reach a certain age, not that you would know) That sentence made me feel so much better, the problem is I do know as my body tells me so. Since passing fifty I seem to have more aches and pains than I used to and I did relax in a chair afterwards I can tell you. :lol: Well I hope the job goes well for you even with the help of the picture framer. :lol:
