Hi. I'm long retired, and about to move house from Cornwall to Devon; from an old house with fabulous views and half acre of jaw dropping garden to a brand new house with virtually no garden but with a double garage. The garden had become too much for me, as I knew it would eventually. Now I'm gathering ideas for converting one of the two garages to a woodworking workshop and resuming my old hobby. I have a grade B at A' level in woodwork from 60 years ago but never used the skills as a job, only as a hobby. The foot stool I made for O' level is still with me and in regular use. I look forward to gleaning lots of useful stuff from this forum and, hopefully, contributing some too.
