Thank you for accepting me into the group. I am 73 years old and have been woodworking since 12 years old as my father was a furniture and cabinet maker. Started early helping my dad with his projects and commissions.

Now I primarily do wood art, particularly lathe objects cut into deliberate or random pieces and reassembled in a unique way, most often with a mixture of various woods from different turning pieces.

I look forward to participation in this group and appreciate being a member.

Yes it is. We are in the Upper Peninsula and north of Old Mission Peninsula. The Traverse City area is great for artists as well as selling their work.
