erm jim, how many routers do you really need ?

it might be time to check in to routers anonymous and admit an addiction

he's only posted that to make me feel even worse about not getting up early for these boot fairs!

Moose...I did have a bit of a thing about not passing a stall with a router on it once but I do use each one of these for different things...(really!..honest!!)

The ones in the drawer don't get used so much!!!

Actually..how could you pass that little Makita at £20 or the Bosch at a tenner?

I could probably buy a proper one at that rate actually!

Yes Jumps...you really should get there earlier! 8)

Curiouser and curiouser!

I took off the sub base assembly to see why it won't plunge to the base only to find that someone has obviously had it with the springs out in a table. It has been put back with the wrong springs - big buggers which allow it to plunge but not much. The small (part no61) spring is there but not doing anything and rattling around.

What's missing altogether are the rods that go in above the springs (part 62).. (part refs as per dewalt exploded parts drawing)

I'm not sure I'm bothered as I don't need the plunge rings for the router table. But I'd like to know if I just drop those rods in the channels before putting the sub base back. If so it sounds a breeze.

Cheers

Steve
