New coaches planned for First Great Western

Just seen the new proposed layout for these and sadly they have almost completely removed 'table' seats and replaced them with those hideous 'airline' type seats which, for anyone with my proportions, means sitting with my knees up around my ears.

They claim it is to avoid people standing during peak periods. Actually there will be people standing...ie people like me who don't fit.

Bah!

You can always head for the guards van with your old directors chair. ( Some of the guards are ladies these days )
