I am looking for a decent (but reasonably priced) rip blade for my Kity 419 CS. 200mm, 30mm bore. Riving knife is 2.6mm, so I think the Axy and Freud ones are out due to too narrow a kerf.
Thanks
Si.

Can vouch for the AW industrial saw blades, very good quality, kerf 3.2mm.

If you visit their factory shop in Sheffield, those blades are £25 each, not the £50+ everyone else seems to be selling them at. Their hand saws are also significantly cheaper if you buy direct. Just picked up a 200mm 'no 168' dovetail saw from them for £25 (typically costs around £50-£60 everywhere else).

Thanks for the info about AW - I had seen their blades but had baulked at the price.

Also remember that as well as being good the AW blades have lots of have nice big bits of carbide on the tips so will sharpen quite a few times, so while you may pay more to start with it will cost less to sharpen than buying a cheap blade every time it is blunt.

I have just returned some of Axminsters own blades as being not fit for it business use, the industrial quality ones are be better but they did not do the size I needed, but luckly still had some CMT ones still in stock.

Again all credit to Axminster for sorting this out, I know they are currently sorting the gap in the sizes of their industrial blades.

I can recommend both the AW & the Cutting Solutions blades.

I don't recall AW selling direct to end users apart from at their factory shop.

The factory itself is amazing, well it was before the flood, and should be even better now, I've not been there for a few years, I used to sel their blades.
I know Doug at Cutting Solutions also sells quality kit, sourced from manufacturers who make all sorts from DIY to professional & industrial products.

In Kelham Island, the easiest way to get there is from Penistone Road (A61)

Atkinson-Walker (Saws) Ltd
1 Cotton Mill Row
Sheffield
S3 8RU

Tel: +44 (0) 114 275 2121
Fax: +44 (0) 114 275 1676

Dont expect anything big though, it's pretty small, but they seem to have a selection of all the products they make, plus some stuff from other manufacturers as well.

does anyone know what size the blade and bore is for a eumenia m50l/300 please.
