my layers have gone in sketchup?

Hi all
I havnt used sketchup for a while and opened it up and it said there was an update on the web (i already have vers 6)
so i upgraded and loaded my plans one by one and they all look different but thats not the problem!

the layers all seem to have merged into 1 ...

has this happened to anyone else?

I have an old copy of one of the plans that opens with a read only warning that seems still ok but i'm worried that if i alter this and write it to disk (if i can?) it will change like the others have?

any ideas?

Mike, could you send me one of your old files that shows the layers merged? Send me one that you haven't saved in V6 but that shows the merging of layers in V6.
