Music - is there a name for the thing that brass players attach to their instrument to hold a music cue card? I wan't something similar for my banjo. I can bodge something up but it might be available off the peg - if I can put a name to it!

Sokay I've found it. It's called a brass marching lyre. Who'da though it!

"Good," said the man. Give me a beer, and I'll have a banjo player for my 'gator."

Yep. Could be a peg, I'll have a go. Ta.

I still haven't quite found what I want - I have in mind a peg (as suggested) but with brass knobs on. I know it's out there somewhere.
