The use of the carved mouse to establish a brand identity was ahead of its time, and worked amazingly well. I don't suppose my dear old aunt could have named any other furniture maker, but I remember her explaining with enthusiasm that every piece had a little mouse on it somewhere.

But I do wonder how unsatisfying it must have been, to spend your days going over machined pieces so that the final surface looked authentically hand-worked.
 
Great stuff. Interesting one handed use of the cabinet scraper at around 13.45… never seen that before, is that a recognised technique?

It's your browser privacy setting that are stopping it playing. I get the same thing in Firefox, but it plays fine in Opera. I have a script blocker in Firefox and sometimes it blocks things I don't want it to!
 
Very interesting- notice the lack of H&S.
It's nice that the company is still in existence.
