does anyone know the maximum size of blade the minimax can use, also the electric motor has gone belly up wondered about cost of replacement.

this is only a stab in the dark but i reckon a size smaller than the one that let the smoke out of your motor in the first place ... :lol:

Depending upon how the motor is attached to the bandsaw it might be easier to get the motor rewound than try to fit a replacement. If you look in Local yellow pages you should be able to find someone local to give you a quote. If its single phase it may just be the capacitor that has explded which should be a cheap fix.
