That looks solid! 💪 Where was the pivot/angle bracket(s) from? And presumably it locates on the t-track under the rail rib? Thanks! P 👍

Hi Peter
The pivot is a Bosch Rexroth swivel bearing.

The angles are cut and drilled by myself to suit these sliders.

I ground down this slide block then drilled and tapped it to suit the top plate that bolts to pivot.

The landing side has a m5 bolt to locate the rail, I think that it needs changing to something to stop the rail wearing out or a slop stop but can’t seen to find one from the uk.

I had the back plate cnc by a water jet but I would get it cnc milled next time as water jet doesn’t give the cleanest cut.

In total cost around £300 in parts and labor

Forgot to mention that the hinge side is self height adjusting aswell as having a lock and that the pivot is tight enough in the brass collars to hold its self almost vertical until it hits the track clamping bolt
Thanks for taking the time to respond in such detail - you have given me exactly what I was after 👍
Thanks
Jon

Have you seen the USA) Paulk bench (Utube)? originally no mft holes, but set up with wooden imitation of the festool setup for his track saw. He uses it to make cabinets on site. Could be worth a look, and inexpensive!
I've a Mafell saw; mafell track seems OK for panel cross cuts, the vacuum clamp track is good too. Mafell track not so rigid over 2.4M as you can put it down with a curve. Festool track is wider and thus stiffer, and doesn't flex into a shallow curve resulting from repositioning to your mark, at one end.
