Hi all

I'd not really considered this bit of kit until recently when someone mentioned it re the Festool Domino. Now the domino isn't what I want, basically this is to joint up 20mm Oak panels, at 90 degrees to one another.

I can see the basics of how it works, but I'm not sure how accurately it's going to space a second pair of dowel holes on the edge and on the face of a panel and with dowels, 1mm may as well be 10mm out.

Anyone put my doubts to rest ?

Chris.

Hi Chris a freind of mine has one and its a nice well made machine although to my mind not as vesatile as the domino but if you have a special task for it it could be ideal. You can do larger panel work by using the allumnium templates. Best i could find on the web is this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=grKayxglWBM its not in english but you can make out whats going on easily

cheers
