others might disagree but I always feel that superglue is a bit on the brittle side, very good for speed, but maybe not as good as wood glue in the longer term?

Time will tell I guess but good to know I should have maybe used wood glue

After spilling superglue on my jeans I can confirm the exothermic reaction and peeling off want a pleasant experience

Knocked over a big jam jar of Danish oil which went down the leg on my jeans.Dozen washes and it remained stiff.

Left a nice finish though
