Thanks both. Yes Malcolm, I use a strip of LED lights that you can cut to any length (in multiples of 3 bulbs) and a 9v [edit: it's 12v] AC adaptor.

EBay, just search for Led strip and there's various colours and warmths. You'll need to solder if you cut them, plus you'll need extra power adaptors & connectors if you go AC. The LEDs were peanuts, I paid about £4 per adapter and the connectors were included (not with some sellers.)

If you like cutting that sort of thing (and who wouldn't) you should have a look at this chap's store http://stores.ebay.de/Bauplanstore?_trk ... 7675.l2563. Some are fixed prices but others are sold by auction. They come in various sizes and I picked up loads of plans for a good price.

Depending on your German, you may need to view the site in Chrome where it will automatically translate it for you.
