Laser etching pens

Hi All,

I've been asked to make a pair of matching pens and 'if possible' personalise them with names/dates etc. - they're for friends of my sister who are getting married. I'm guessing laser etching is the way to go?

I'm sure I've read a thread somewhere on this subject but can't remember where or even roughly when. (It must be in the last year as I'd not made any pens until a year ago, which shows what my memory's like.)

Anybody enlighten me?

Just done a google and come up with this firm.
http://1.2.3.10/bmi/www.cut-tec.co.uk/index.htm Don't know them but they had some interesting test bits to see. Even an orange has been lasered. Quite interesting.

I have not used them myself but someone I know has and he says they are very good but can be a bit expensive for one offs. http://www.laser-engraving-limited.com/corporate.html
