Laminate sheet - where to buy?

Looking at building wheeled router table, couple of layers of MDF sort of thing, with glued on surface. Where’s best to source laminate sheet for table top? Not something I’ve done before so absolutely no idea with laminates and veneers.

Where abouts are you based?

You've got Brent Plastics in West London

Up near Chelmsford you've got Geaves.

Both competitively priced, both really helpful.

What size do you need? I have an insane amount of offcuts if you're near Barnet?

Have you considered something like corian instead? An offcut may actually be cheaper than a piece of Formica.

Here's one option for you.....900mm x 600mm @ 0.8mm thickness in White = £35........I doubt you will find a piece of Corian that size for that sort of money Marcros....

How about aluminium sheet 1.0mm on ebay, even cheaper? Not sure whether to get some myself?

Thanks to everyone for the info. Just looking for small pieces so the eBay link looks good as they also do it in smaller pieces. New router table top and a longer bed for my thicknesser are the two projects I am looking forward to completing.

Talk to Lawcris, then. They contract laminate and do CNC machining as well, so a likely source of small bits
