I am having trouble with my new computer and keyboard.

I have software that says use F12 to do (Panic button band in a box)
Paint shop pro says use F12 to save as. The print screen appears.

I have had a look in control panel KEYBOARDS and the only option I seem to have is changing the my favorites options.

The keyboard is a microsoft DigitalMedia 1.0A and something about inteli lurks around.

Any help out there?

It could be that the drivers and control software for the keyboard have not been installed/configured. Not sure if this any help but:

1. When you click on Control Panel Keyboards the property window should open with Tabs showing Speed, Hardware and in my case Set Point settings (this is the software for my Logitech keyboard and mouse). In your case you should have the MS software for your keyboard.

2. If you click on the Hardware Tab your MS keyboard should be listed. If not then seems likely you will need to locate your Mouse/Keyboard CD and load the necessary device drivers and control software.

If you do not have the installation CD the following MS download site might help:
http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/mouseandkeyboard/Download.mspx

Hope this may be of some help

Cheers :D
Tony

Thanks Tony . My keyboard title is not the one listed at that hardware page.

I have got a driver disk for intelli type pro 6.01 so perhaps I will uninstall the usb device and see if it wants the disk when I put the usb back in the PC.
