Hi everyone
Well after DaveL come round for a play in my turning workshop
I had another forum member around for a " Spin " on my Woodfast
It was John. B from Romford , just up the road from me ,
We started about 11.15am on this
as you can see it had a fault
But John soon turned that away
Starting to form the shape nicely
Some sanding
and polish
Time to turn it over into the chuck jaws and start hollowing it out
Opps . disaster , desperate Dan ( me ) decided to just tweek the jaws and make sure it was nice and tight , BANG , split the foot of the bowl
 , trust me !!
But some extra turning and it was saved and back on track
Getting deeper now
at the bottom ,
Sand and Finnish the inside and hey presto
Jobs a gooden
I think John is going to do some carving around the rim , so look out for the update
Allen
