jet 10-20 drum sander conveyor belt

Wondering if anyone know of a cheaper way to buy these than spending £40 plus at Polewood machinery?

Or even better does anyone sell rubber ones to fit these machines?

Unfortunately you are at the mercy of Brimarc as they are the UK importers of JET tools. So you are unlikely to get it much cheaper. Unless there is 3rd party who makes that size conveyor belt.

Have you tried ringing Axminster? They only want £11 for the paper belt for the 16-32, they don't list the belt for the 10-20 either in their catalogue or on the website. The paper belts seem to last a long time even if the sander is used for thicknessing

Just tried Axminster, and they were a bit more expensive still. So have bitten the bullet and bought from Polewood. Ouch!

I had a look last night and didn't realise is was a form of sanding belt. So if you know the size? Can you not order one from any where that sells that size belt?

I don't think so, as it doesn't seem to be a standard size — can't find one like that anyway....
