Hmmmmm,

Moving some wood in the store yesterday found a large piece of boxwood I had forgotten about - Reckon some other chisles may get the "Dodge" treatment next week :mrgreen:

I love the notion of a store that can have large, forgotten pieces of boxwood!

My favourite shapes in one of my favourite woods...bloody superb Dodge!!! =D>

I would not have uses LV either though not for the reason BB gives but for the sheer fact that I have covered myself in LV shavings more often than I care to remember now and much prefer cutting box....

LV can splinter though...and the impact from the top will possibly encourage this but you'd have to be hitting it pretty hard and I think you will just be tapping these...if at all...so this should not prove a problem in normal use.
