My son has a small room/cupboard off his bedroom were he stores some of his clothers etc. No windows, but a sloping roof that has no insulation and is very cold in winter. So much so that the cold gets into his bedroom even though there is a door.

Whats the best way to insulate that without it costing a fortune by getting it completly fitted out by one of the firms that do this.

Just put insulated plaster board in google and find what fits your room arrangement and space requirement, check out installation instructions . When complete consider supplementary heating .
Just noticed your profile , you could find the above job heavy and difficult for one person .

The best product to install would be British Gypsum's Gyproc Thermaline PLUS in either 27mm or 35mm board. It is a insulated plasterboard with an integral vapour control. It is all that we specify now for refurb jobs to old houses that need insulating. Install just like plaster board.

Thanks guys, it will enable me to look further into this. Probably do need someone to fit it proprly, but it's only a small cupboard with sloping roof that is probably not insulated. Ideally needs to be fitted out like a dressing room with hanging space etc fitted in, so may need to get estimates.
