I have made Firefox my defalut browser (on desktop xp/3)and this means I do not have to log in each visit to ukworkshop and other forums.
Whereas i/e8 had been playing me up for weeks and making me book in each time.

I've been using Firefox since it first came out. I wasn't aware people still used IE!

Is there anyway to transfer all my favourites (10 years worth)from i/e to firefox?

How many ten year old links do you have that still work!?!?

BugBear

John, do you ever clean out all the old cookies you collect whilst browsing? if so try also cleaning out those relating to UKW so that you get a clean install of information.

Many of the links still work I renew if I get a dud one.

Chas, if I clear my cookies wont I have to start booking in again? :)

Yes, if you download XMarks for IE, it will sync all your favorites to their server. Then download firefox and the Xmarks for firefox, sign in and bobs your uncle!

Same with Chrome. I clear out cookies once a week and do a full virus scan plus run adaware. Log In and Passwords are saved - and carried forward into the login/passwords screens
