Hitachi M12V spares

Hi,

I have just picked a Hitachi M12V from a car boot sale it works fine but has no fence, I have had a quick google (they can't touch you for it) and drawn a blank, well a couple of american hits but zip from the UK. Any idea where I can get one from? Cost me £24 so can't complain.

Can not help with spares but have you considered a router table.
Also with some metal rod you could make one in hard wood.

It might end up in my router table instead of bolting my Makita 3612C in every time, but a fence would come in handy.

The rods are 12mm dia and the centers of the rods are 91mm apart.

I have a list of Hitachi M12V part numbers. I believe that the part number that you require is Code 956-915 Description Straight guide (A). Builders Equipment in Norwich can obtain it for you (01603 616211-just ask for parts dept). I did phone them and they tell me the price is 33.94+VAT. The price would seem to make it a no no. You may be able to get it elsewhere cheaper. HTH

Guess what my Makita 3612C fence fits so problem solved, unless I want to use both routers with the fence.
