I've been lurking on the forums for quite a while now and thought I would say hi
below is a pic of a tool chest I have made(far from fine woodworking) out of an old book shelf and pallets
This now houses my hand tools
Hopefully in time I will get to make something worth showing for others to see

It doesn't have to be pretty for it to work Karl and all journeys begin with the first step. Thanks for posting and well done. It takes guts to show your work, keep trying out those cuts and joints and it will get better, just as it did for everyone else on here

Welcome to the forum.
As ROS says if it's functional, then it works. I'm forever changing things around in my workshop and making new bits to store things in.

Cheers for the encouragement guys, ive been having ago at dovetails but failing miserably. Does anyone know of any courses in the south wales area or any pros that fancy a visiter (i will bring the chocolate biscuits ) for an hour....
