Seems to be a few been sold or up for sale recently :?
There is another one for sale on the Toolpost site in customers sales.

Could it be the economy? People downsizing, knowing their greatest asset is their VB? Or the state of Woodturning? (doubtful), or is it that there are better machines available? (also doubtful)

More likely that they are owned by older turners who have to give up and are selling off their equipment I'd have thought

Roger Buse Hegner chairman says this on their website

I am often asked if we have any second-hand VB's for sale. In fact, although the VB is now by far the most widely used lathe in its price category, none of us have ever seen one advertised for sale

me thinks he may need to change the website in the near future as that isnt the case anymore

i think its probably a bit of downsizing , a bit of the economy (pro wood turners giving up or going bust) and partly a natural progression as time in market increases so goods become more widely available second hand
